If i remove my resonator and replace w/ a hollow resonator will i see an increase of HP. I already have a performance muffler...jus wanna kno if its worth it.

Any thoughts fellow Maxima lovers?? Thanks.

No power gains from removing resonator...just noise. It gets considerably louder.

Just leave it as is.

Just put a Stillen b-pipe. It has no resonator and mandrel bent stainless steel from your cat to your muffler.

Right now, my car has an exhaust leak right in front of the resonator and it is loud as f#$& at 2k rpm to 2.5k rpm(right around 60mph in 5th) Still waiting for my replacement exhaust from 2kracing.com. I went with the OBX Catback because the price was reasonable. Not sure how it will sound, but I think better than what it is right now. The rest of the exhaust is going to stay stock.

If my experience with the exhaust leak is this bad....just think of how loud your car is without the resonator there.

At 70-75 ( about 3k rpm), the drone disappates to a point, but is still there.
