Battery Light on!! Break Light on!!

So the battery light is on, i just put in a new alternator but that didn't fix the light, i checked all the fuses. The car when running generates 14.8 Volts and when i turn things on (CD player, air) it drops to 13 something.

any ideas? the battery itself is new.

The break light is also on, the hand brake is down, and there is plenty of brake fluid.

also i noticed the air control back light is flickering at times. ... i hope it's not a short somewhere.

I know you said you checked all the fuses...but just to make sure, check the battery fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay, driver's side.
Check/clean your main ground wire at the battery terminal and on the bell housing.
Do a load test. Turn on your lights/high beams, AC set to max, rear defroster on. Voltage should drop momentarily and then climb back up to around 14v.

For those that do not know when the alternator output goes to zero the brake light and battery light does come on in Maximas... at least the 3rd and 4th gens that i've had.
