door alignment

so long story short i messed my door up because my genius self decided to rock the car off the ramps after i had drained the oil out of the car to put it on a level surface to fill the oil and my driver side door hit the rail of the garage door and my door took all of the damage and i had to get a new one

well i got another door and it bolts up fine it's just a little misaligned vertically and is a little close to my fender so my question is what is the best way to correct this problem?

the door i have on there now do not meet any of those clearances

is it safe for me to throw some washers behind the hinge and shim it back?

if its an oem nissan door for a 95-99 maxima, they fit 100% without an modification needed, unless when you messed up your door you also probably messed up the treading which holds the door bolts. i have changed over 100 maxima doors and never had an issue, do you have a pic of how it looks?
