driver side cv axle wont come out!

driver side cv axle wont come out!
I am trying to replace both of my cv axles and i got my passenger cv axle out already and then tried to pull out my drivers side and it wont budge. id tried to pry it out and it still wont budge. Need Advice!

There's nothing to it, just have to pry it out.
What are you using, a screwdriver? Get a proper prybar.
That or you could try beating it out from the passenger side of the diff with a punch...or a screwdriver.

tried to pop it out through the other side with a screw driver. no room to move because of the y pipe and there is a small rod in the tranny that keeps me from seeing the end of the drive axle. i tried prying it out and it wont budge. manual says that it may not be possible to pry off if its an auto tranny.

You can go around the center pin in the diff, but I guess the Y is more your problem.
Yes, the manuals say that, they're incorrect. You just need a good prybar.

Not exactly the most proper tool for the job, but it's quite easy.

Like everyone said, pry bar does wonders. Try having a buddy lightly yanging on the axle while you're prying it from under.. I just pulled both my axles recently as I just got my trans rebuilt and thats all I had to do
