Stupid oil changer

He put about 5 quarters after draining the old engine oil (filter also replaced).......will be there any dangerous problem that needs immediate interaction?
I discovered that after I returned home and checked the dipstick ...

See, that's why you change your own oil!
(drain a little out)

Your engine can't run on 5 quarters.

It's only 3/4 quart overfilled, it won't cause any immediate or extreme damage. Just drain out the extra when you get a chance.

Pretty much have the same experience at last oil change. So now I am looking for used cheap jack stands, so I don’t have to deal with auto shop morons.
Does anybody know tip or trick to check level on dipstick? Every time I try to read the level it’s just guessing. I tried to remove the dipstick in lots of ways and still no luck, every time I get different reading and every time it covered in oil over the FULL mark.

Search next time.

Dumb question about oil level
Is checking the oil supposed to be this difficult?

In my stock ride height 95 gxe I can change my oil without jacking it up at all. Its tough and much easier if you remove the right front fender splash gaurd but possible.

Check your oil first thing, before starting or running the engine. Pull the dipstick once, wipe clean with a paper towel, reinsert dipstick all the way in, then pull back out and read level. To change the oil - have synthetic 10W30 and a filter on hand. I run engine to normal op temp then run up on ramps, have a fram quick change drain bolt valve installed already and mines done in 20 minutes tops. Beats going to the idiot-hut-oil- change-overfill-to-cover-my-a$$-place. Had enough of that...

This is a perfect example of why most orgers work on their own cars....especially basic maintence items.

I think whatever mechanic that changed your oil doesn't know how to read the specs and measure to those specs I would then then ask them to give my $$$$ back for the s*** job they did.

Yes, sorry 5W30 is preferred, but here in Texas, no need for it! In fact, it's hard to find in stock anywhere 'round heh.
