EGR delete=P1105 (MAP sensor)??
will deleting the EGR somehow cause a p1105 code? This is the map sensor. When you follow the hoses from the map sensor all the way down the 'path' it does eventually run into the egr iirc. After my swap in which i deleted the egr valve, etc, i have this code. or is it just coincidence? how can i reroute hoses so that this code can go away? maybe leave one hose open to ambient air somewhere? idk....

P1105 could indicate the MAP/BARO solenoid valve, instead of the MAP sensor. The solenoid valve has a vacuum hose that connects to the bottom of the throttle body. It's very easy to miss this and leave that hose disconnected, if you've had the throttle body/UIM off. If that hose is disconnected, it will throw a P1105.

ahhh, i thought it was map sensor the whole time, but either way it goes to the solenoid i guess. I messed with hoses again tonight. As of right now, the only port thats not being used and is plugged is the one that comes from the egr solenoid to the egr. so hopefully this fixes the problem.

Sorry for bumping a thread from the Dead but I didn't think it was worth making a topic over but I checked the FSM and it didn't say that the Hose that connects into the MAP "boost sensor" is supposed to have a vacuum. I don't feel a Vacuum at all at idle. Maybe cause the Solenoid is supposed to open at a random time and Vacuum comes out? I am not sure but I threw a code and it was because this hose was cracked. I fixed that hose.
