Auto and 5spd. Timing ring the same?

i believe thats what its called...i chipped a tooth on the small gold ring behind the flywheel last month and now i have a p1336 code for crankshaft pos sensor, so im just wondering if they are the same parts for an auto and a 5 speed. gotta get the car inspected. thanks

Yes...what point are you trying to make?

You can use an auto timing ring, but you'll have to drill it out yourself to bolt it up. The timing ring on the flexplate is riveted on, not bolted on like the flywheels.
