That will keep both on. But it won't do anything to decrease the brightness of the high beams. Adding a resistor is just a bad idea - it will overheat quickly, and it will be hard to get an exact value.

What you need is a DRL module. This allows you to run your high beams as DRLs at a specific percentage of their full output power.

Not that im allergic to searching or anything, but if you got some links that would be sweet!

Ive got a weird keyless issue that im deeply researching right now, along with a possible maf problem.
