2000 Bose headunit fit/work in 98 SE?

Will 2000 Bose headunit fit in a 98 non-Bose max?

What do you think would happen if you put the amps from a '00 into a '96?

No...you would have to re-wire everything...Bose systems come with an amp to each speaker where as a non bose is powered by the radio. Just get an aftermarket HU

a 5th gen headunit will not fit in a 4th gen period. The headunit is wider than a DIN slot and designed/angled to fit only in a 5th gen dash.
