Just installed front suspension (struts&springs), hearing noise, need help!
I just installed my front suspension (Tokico Illuminas w/ S-techs) it looks real nice, but when i turn the wheel ether way I'm hearing a dut, dut, dut type noise. SO I had my friend turn the steering wheel while I was out side the car and looked at the suspension, it seems like the springs are sliding. The springs are compressed and mounted on the strut, but they're sliding... what did i do wrong?

Just changed the Starter, Alt (after it ate 2 batteries) battery & radiator (had an accident while changing alt)within a week. Should be good to go for the winter *all fingers crossed*
How you liking it man. Im going with same setup, but need struts.^^Any before and after pics.?
I love it, I have my adjustments on setting 4 all round, for comparison: (stiffness) it rides similar my friends Z06. You should definatly go with S-techs. I'm amazed it sits perfect. I'm glad I spent the money.
PS: I will post pictures for you today.

BTW, did you pack any greese for the strut bearing? going to do some suspension work myself next week, the bearing I got is just a plastic ring, still wondering how it will work ...

Na, I didn't use any grease. I read threw the Handling & suspension sticky, and it didn't say antyhing about grease. This is my first time though, so maybe I missed something.

did u forget to to put the big rubber ring under the black cap that goes on top of the spring when ure ready to tighten the bolt down?
Yes, I think I know what you're talking about. It's the bushing if i'm correct. It's the rubber piece that makes contact with both the black metal piece and the spring. It's a big piece, and hard to mis-place. Is that the piece you're talking about? If it is, I definatly kept that attached.
I think I'm still missing something, because, though it doesn't make the sound as bad as before, it still makes the same sound, but slightly less. I still haven't had an alignment though, though I doubt that will fix the problem.

Great, I didn't see that either, guess I will do the same.
