[IACV idle adjustment] What if the Throttle body stop screw is at its lowest setting?
#42
is it on a bracket? this is new to me i havent done my VI yet but false air is getting into your manifold somewhere. so the 5th gen iacv doesnt bolt to the manifold cuz of the clearance? is the plate sealing fine?
have you ever seafoamed your car? it may help you find the leak the nice thing is you dont have to have someone holding the throttle open
your engine is beautiful

Yea, IACV is sealed very well. The adapter is top quality. If its leaking, its under the Throttle body or its just the IACV NOT sealing when I unplug the TPS.|
When you attempt the IDLE re-learn, your suppose to adjust the throttle body adjustment screw on these swaps. Unfortunately, my idle screw wont lower the RPM's anymore, its as far as it will pull back the butterfly plate. I think the IACV is just stuck on open or something without the TPS plugged in. With the TPS plugged in, the car idles fine, a little low on stop lights but fine, it adjusts itself to 700, (from 1300 with TPS unplugged). But with the TPS unplugged, its as if the IACV just remains fully open and thats where all the air is coming from. I can guarantee If i plug the IACV when the car turned on, it will stall.

well because the Throttle body is supposed to allow you to achieve desired idle speed with the TPS unplugged via idle relearn procedures. When its plugged in, all its (the ecu/iacv) doing is pulling my timing to lower the rpm's..
plus it shakes at a stop and gurgles.

honestly dude i think you should go to town with some carb spray with the tps plugged in spray that chet everywhere and listen for a jump in idle its possible you may have a hole in your plastic manifold.
