knock sensor related question and tip

alright so i just replace my knock sensor and i guess ill ask the question first...basically is there only one wire attached to the sensor itself? coz mine only has one...i made a drawing to illustrate...

basically does this look right? i dont see a loose end where it could have came off or ripped off...i looked into the black wrap thingy and i couldnt see another wire in there..help me out thanks...

as for a tip i learned to get in there:
given im asian and have smaller hands than most ppl...i decided to lube up...i coated my wrist area and palm with motor oil and basically slipped in and out...also it helped if you angle downward (towards the ground) while going in...and it kind of helped when i made a very slight fist, basically pulled my fingers slightly in...

there u go...just try to degreas the area with brake cleaner to clean it up when youre done..

the ks has one wire going in/out. the harness connector has 2. don't ask me how it works but that's the way it is.

i tried this myself a few month ago... Was able to get the sensor out... but had to tow it to a shop to get the new one put in. Turned out in the Cali Spec the sensor is further in under the manifold and is impossible to get to...

first off lube up? thats just funny. Acutally cali spec has a little sense in the way. Remove the senseor and then get in there. super easy.
Put yeah just one wire is fine.

It's supposed to have one wire going to it. The KS is grounded to the block and not through a wire.
