Victory pipes on the max!
as crazy as it sounds yes i have victory pipes on the maxima...it looks and sounds pretty good..the sound is similar to the sp2 and the attention from others is pretty funny too..especially from cops but anyways pictures up soon..i used the stillen b pipe to my custom welded rear section. i expect flaming but we all have our own taste...i like the look of something not commonly done.

OP: i know what you're going for but you have a lot more work before it looks vip. here's a link to a vip forum so you can get more ideas, advice and flaminghttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zeroforum?id=260
...that's why the tires are stretched, nothing to do with drifting.

yeah they do on the site they sell a carbon fiber hood. It says they do custom carbon fiber parts so i have to call them im sure they'll sell hoods...if not then race one is sure to have one i would do vis but i hear the fitment is crappy. the tires are stretched due to if i were to put 235's or the recommended 245's it will rub so i stretched 225's. the vip thing is on my mind but in reality you're not going to find much for a maxima unless you get lucky and find a way to get the diana from somewhere which is pretty much along the lines of impossible over here. the staggered pipes were to compensate for the y connection being uneven...keep in mind this was a project that was done out of boredom and for future experience....nothing long term.

i don't know what to say. ugggh... i really don't.
its true that theres only so much you can do to a maxima along the lines of "vip styling" but you are not even close. you've chosen some of the worst cues from vip (victory pipes are actually boso, but have been includeed in some old school vip builds) without grasping the style at all. stretched tires are popular in the vip community so that wide/low offset wheels can be run flush on slammed cars. you are niether particularly flush or low from what i can tell. right now your car looks like a caloboration of poor execution to say the very least. decide what you want to do as a whole and do it well.
at the same time, i catch a lot of heat everywhere for doing things different no matter where on the internet i am (vip guys hate maximas just as much as maxima guys hate vip). i, like you, get ideas from a lot of different styles (vip, minitruck, dub, tuner, etc.) but the key is making them work together. good luck on your build. i hope to see you gain some clarity in what you want to do and execute it to the best of your ability.

How much did you pay for those bad boys?
Why not trim them so they are flush with the back bumper?

Can you do a HOW TO on this with pictures if possible? Also part #'s and an estimated price for all the parts needed. Thanks.
Screw the haters I may do this to depending on costs if you don't mind?

My current hood is a VIS and its fitment has been better then the previous two hoods I had before it.
