It's supposed to take 4.25 quarts. In all honesty, I would probably skip the lucas. If you really want to put it in, check the bottle and see what it recommends as far as the oil to lucas ratio. I would try to avoid going over 4.5 quarts total or so, Mobil1 and Lucas.

96 = 4.25
97 = 4.25
99 = 4.25
I know this is a 3rd gen, but: 91 = 4.25

Stick with 4.25

Plus, I hate the idea of ANY engine additives. I smell nothing but trouble on all of them. they really arent needed, and if they are, your only using a bandaid on something that requires major surgery. And yes, I know Lucas is more of a cleaner, but still. . . I wouldnt use it

Here's what I do:
-Put in 4 quarts.
-Run the engine for a minute to circulate the oil through the engine and new filter.
-Shut it off and wait a few minutes to let it settle into the oil pan.
-Check the dipstick to see how much to add to fill it up. The area between the "Add" and "Fill" lines represents one quart.

ill do the 3.25 with mobil and 1 lucas see how it goes , the reason for lucas is that im hearing the engine lifter and i want to check if the lucas will make it less noise for the lifter. <- As what people told me can someone confirm that.?

Put 2 qts. of Mobil 1 first, then Lucas (thick *** ****) remaining 1.25 of
Mobil 1 and let it run for 5 mins. to let the Lucas circulate.

Should quiet down some after a while (worked ok on my 3rd gen)
