Aren't they just the plastic trim tabs that break like all the other panel clips? I'm pretty sure they are, and have no idea how to without breaking them.

no I dont care about those, im just asking how to remove the spoiler from the trunk lid? like is it more than just those 4 nuts? and are they on studs that are in the spoiler? I ask because I got 2 nuts off but the other 2 on the other side just keep spinning and there is no way to get to anything on the other side to make it stop spinning.. therefore I cant get it off..

You got the 4 nuts from the inside trunk. Then there are 2 clips are on outside edges of the spoiler. They may or may not slide out. Good luck.

they keep spinning because the studs broke free from the mold inside the spoiler so youre turning the studs with the nuts. you'll have to stop the studs from turning to get the nuts off, you could try pb blaster or similar to help free the nuts from the studs.

you can tighten it back down with the studs not sticking in the mold, you'll just have to prevent the studs from turning like you did taking the nuts off. you shouldnt have to worry about the studs falling into the spoiler. all they did was mold the plastic of the spoiler around the stud ends to keep them from turning. when the nuts freeze to the studs and you try to break them loose, the weaker of the material (the spoiler plastic) give way.

is it possible to tighten the spoiler, and is it possible without breaking those plastic tabs? my spoiler rattles just from my speakers and even more when i drive...and id rather not break the tabs...
