Why? I own R34 headlights, I know first hand how bad the output is, especially with HID's, and I know what the glare looks like.

I agree with you because i have the r34 with HID ( IT SUCKS ) My stock headlamp with HID has more lighting on the road at night than the r34 with HID.

heres what I got going into my r34's, J30 dual projectors. I know they arent as nice as the TSX or TL's but I wanted dual projectors.
here is someone elses retrofit on the rx7 forums:

Read the thread, those pics are from when he used spacers to move the bulbs back causing a little narrower output. I agree they are narrower than good projectors but I got these cheap from a junkyard. I not too into the functionality, I would do it more just for the looks.  after all ive been using standard r34s for 5 months now.
These projectors are projectors on a budget but still better than anything stock.

How come they dont sell r34s with projectors already in them like they sell headlights for hondas, fords, mitsubishis, etc etc?? We should think of talking to a sponsor or somebody in group deals in testing sales for projector headlights. i bet they would fly off the shelf...

If you dont have projectors than HID's are pointless. Unless the housing was designed for them. Also are you sure your body kits output is not horrid? Just my .02

Problem is take a look at the quality of those projectors. They suck. There are projector headlights available for the 5th gen and the output is terrible. Quality cost money, and most people are too damn cheap to pay what it would take to get a quality set of projector headlights mass produced.
