See the thing is, there are over hundreds of different brans to go for. but the fact remians is that they all are pretty much the same. They all claim better quility with examples of (digital, smaller ballests, ignitor inside unit). but see with all that mombo, they are pretty much all the same because they all come from the same companies in like china.

For example, mine are Xenon-strom, pretty legit looking box got it fed-ex'd from sae place in china. I have had them for over a year, they have been pretty good besides having really crappy universalplugs that were made out o plastic that lundry soap bottles are made out of. So i cut those off and just used a butt connactor instead. So far they dim a little bi after being on for a while but not extreamly noticeable unless u flash them and u wil see them get brighter again for a few mins. The ballasts said they were rust proof....lol...they are not.

other then those complants for the money i paid i think $200 shipped was not bad back a year and a half ago. and they said there is a lifetime warrinty. but i heard nothing but horror stories on getting replacments...AFTER I BOUGHT them.... lol

Umnitza, Hella, Phillips, OEM.....take your pick. Do some research bro. Info is free - don't rely on other's opinions.

I have Texon CW9006 HID bulb crystal white with Texon K1 Ballast I think they look great and cost was not much. I think I paid $125 for them both.... As everyone else said your the one that has to use them so find one thats good for you. I went crystal white so I don't get pulled over for having bluish lights. Instead I went with the bluish look for my highs so at least I could turn them off.

+1 here .They are all the same. I have ordered a couple diff brands to see what the big difference was betwen them and all i could find was the sticker on the outside. They are the same internally . Dont believe me, buy 2 sets and open them up and see if you can find a difference.

Well with 4th gens, the headlight housing sucks for HID's. If you're going to get them, I highly suggest being a man (or really woman), sucking it in and putting the dough down for a projector refit. I'm getting my cefiro's ready for a refit to TL projectors. At least then the beam will be good...and on the road.

Prices i paid
1) fx35 projectors: 70 shipped
2) matsu****a gen 3 120 shipped
ballasts were
3) wiring w/relays 20 bucks
and connections
4)screws and such +10 bucks

That's about the normal price
for a decent retrofit... 220 total

I also bought an apexcone kit for d2s bulbs (for projectors) for 200 shipped. Sharphid.com Oh and it has a lifetime warranty. No problems at all for 6 months now.

Since your fogs don't have high beams you don't need to worry about it for your h3's. For your 9004 head lamps you would need bi-xenon to keep your highs tho

aw you're hurting me feelin's

no but seriously though, they are all made in China. I have been to a factory in Guangzhou that is a major manufacturer of these kits.

as anti-China as I am, I must say the HID kits seems to be the best thing China makes. Their Lowe's Kobalt tools, Harbor Frieght tools, all the stuff at Wal Mart and Target is junk, but the HID kits seem to hold up well. I've had my Chinese HIDs for years, they have definitely lasted longer than any other Chinese made junk I can think of.

Yep, they are all the same.

You can buy this part at http://www.sparkhid.com.

My car had been sitting in a shop for three weeks waiting for a specific part. After becoming irritated from the wait, I turned to the web. It took me a little while, but I found this site, which solved my problems.

im also looking to get HIDs off ebay but im not too sure of which ones, theres so many different kinds, and ebay being ebay you never know what some ppl might sell you on there so the suggestions would be to look them up by brand name on ebay or just find a store online that sell them?

Google DDM Tuning and buy a kit from them. Best for the money, ive been running a kit from them for over a year with no problems.
