What is the purpose of the white plastic clip thing at the end of the fuel injector?

When i removed the fuel injectors they all cracked or broke off. Now the bottom oring is slipping down on the fuel injector and then dumping massive amounts of fuel into the cylinder, causing a misfire.

I tried calling napa and see if they carry these type of parts.

Anybody know where i can get this plastic cap for the fuel inj?

Why not try the dealer? You just need to take a look at Nissans parts diagram and go to the service department and let them know exactly what you need.

Did that, the parts guy and the service guys say that the plastic cap does not serve a purpose, i think there fos. They are trying to sell me the whole FI. I looked at the parts diagram and it shows the fi and then the orings, thats it. Right now i am checking into napa and see if you get that piece when you order a rebuild kit for the fi's.

Anbody who can help me out here and tell me where i could get this plastic cap, would be greatly appreciated.

I just yanked the intake manifold off and put all new orings on the fi's. I hope replacing the orings will stop it from slipping down.

Just got off the phone with napa and they said the rebuild kit does not have it. You have to buy the whole fi. I think this is total bs. I gota spend $800 because of the stupid plastic caps, F**K ME!!!!!!!!

Anybody got some lube, i'm gona need it real bad.
