What color is your clock, C.C., & radio.......
I used a very rich red cellophane and came out with this semi whit color. There is a hint of red and blue in the white, but it looks mostly white.
My question is if I place another piece of celophane (say dark blue) in front of the white that I have do u think it will shine blue. Or do u think that the blue and red cellophane will mix and just make a brwn/black color?? Hmmmmmm just gotta try it i juess...

The red to the Right is just multiple layers ( how its packaged). I used a single layer of the red (which is in the center) and came out with the
white, Im showing the red in single and doubl layers b/c its such a color difference from 1 layer to 2

more piece of blue ON TOP would make it shine blue no?!?!?!?! What I dont understand is why I got white and the chart says I should have yellow.

this has been covered a couple times and the conclusion i have come to is that normal color theory does not apply 100%. my answer to your specific situation would be that the "green" is closer to cyan and the "red" is closer to magenta, resulting in a near white.
to get a truer blue i would bet money that adding more blue to the blue-green (cyan) would do the trick. if you don't want to try it i'll give you and update when i do it sometime in the near future.
ot, but i need a quick answer: the defrost button is not supposed to lock like the hazard button right?

has anybody considered using translucent model paint? similar to what you use to tint tails?
*edit* i might try this. i know some members use this to make the amber corners.

^^ good stuff!! Nice Idea.
I used dark blue nail polish on the clear tips in the radio and behind each icon on the face. Its still green, hopefully the spray paint works!! Let us know bro

I had this on my car for about a year and it was still the same at the end. it will hold up just fine. IIRC to get different colors you put the magenta on first and then the color you want after that. So to get blue put magenta then blue on.

I have a layer of red cellophane and layer of blue. It is a dark blue cellophane but it shines kind of like an aqua blue color. It works cuz it matches the glo part of my reverse indiglo gages tho. More blue might make it a darker blue.

Where did you buy this cellophane and how it's called ? Is this like Glad plastic wrap ?

I have 4 or 5 pieces of blue over the red....and it mathes the rest of the blue in my car. Just go out and get the blue dude and put on enough layers till you get a good match....just make sure they are pressed and stretched well enough over each other so it doesn't compromise the clarity of the clock!

No its not Glad, its plastic cellophane that would be used on crafts or gift wrapping. I got it from A.C. Moore craft store. I'm sure you can get it at any craft store or hobby store.
