So, With The Clear Bumpers and Clear Corners
What's everyone running for bulbs behind them? I'm picking up a 97 SE on Monday and that's the first thing I'm doing. I've looked on a few websites and found corners for $59 and bumpers for $20 or so. But, I need to find bulbs or at least a consensus as to what people are using for bumper lights, corners and headlights.
Thanks and so far the forum looks pretty cool.

Thanks guys. Another question, I like to upgrade the headlights on all of my cars. I'm looking at going from the 9004 to the 9007 using the method I saw over on the 3rd Gen forum. Question is, what 9007's are the best bang for their buck?
I found these, but seem quite pricey.

I just got those for the wife's LS, the Ultras and yes, they are a great upgrade. Does everyone agree on upgrading to the 9007's? It seems like a no brainer.

On the 1157's, if you cut the top nub off the bulb and install it reversed in the corner light, the brighter filament lights up. That's how I did it on my 97 and the clearance lights look great and very orange, kinda like that morning hangover ****.

every size/brand has its own characteristics. it just so happens that 9007 is a similar size/shape to a 9004 and brighter so the conversion isn't hard. to get true white out of a halogen bulb it has to have a blue coating to filter out the yellow.
the $15 on amazon is a single bulb.
look for silverstars in 9004 unless you want to do the necessary mods to make a 9007 fit.

i have actually never used silverstars. i used piaa super white (discontinued) in mine, and wished i had paid less and got silverstars. heres the comparison from sylvania's website:
maybe someone else can chime in on the color.

I had 9004 Silverstars and wasn't satisified with the product. When it was poor weather (raining) at night, I couldn't see well with them. If the roads were dry, they were awesome.
I then went with Sylvania XtraVision. They are better that Silverstars in poor weather, but not as bright in good conditions.

that sounds like its by design rather than product fault. yellow light travels better in fog/rain/snow from what i understand. its been a while since i diid the research so details are fuzzy.
