A/T Tranny Codes

The other day while driving I went around a turn and than pressed the pedal very hard when the tranny shifted extremely hard. It felt like it jerked. The check engine light came on. The car was beginning to lose power and when I stopped at a stop sign it stalled on me. It took about 3 turns of the key while pressing on the gas to turn it back on. I drove home at 50 mph to prevent any shock to the tranny. The codes that came out are 0504 (Auto Tranny Control Unit Signal ECU), 1206 (TPS Auto. Tranny), 0403 (TPS). I'm not sure what to make of the symptons.

Since this happened I drove 300 miles with no codes except for my rear 02 sensor which I need to change. Other symptoms is my engine would sometimes idle high. It would idle around 800 or 900 rpm than drop to 550 rpm. This happens sometimes. What you think?

I have a VAFC-II when I checked the voltage its very close to spec. well at WOT its 3.989 Volts. but my voltage with the pedal not pressed is approximately 0.5895 volts.

Looks as if your voltages are within spec.

Yep. I'm shrugging too. Going to monitor the situation. My SES light has been blinking too but not throwing cel codes. Next time I will try to pay attention to the blinking. It just comes on random.

CEL = SES = MIL,

CEL = 95 - 96
SES = 97+
MIL = Universal for all years = Malfunction Indicator Lamp

similar symptoms, same problem??? tps???

ok, barring the fact that my trans is flaring, it shifts ok, meaning, it takes about 3 seconds to shift, also i changed the spark plugs and all of a sudden my idle is at 1000 every time i start it now. it settles back down to 550 rpms after warm up, but idle shoots up to 1000 even when warmed up but goes back down. any chance the tps sensor might be the issue??? sorry to jack your thread dude, but this is been annoyin me for a week. thanks to anyone> p.s. dash is free of cels, but i was told that tps is'nt always gonna throw a cel???
