Front Stabilzer Link -broke- replacing tips

Any thing to do or not do replacing the stabilzer link. Can I do it by jacking car up or is it easier with a lift. thanks. Thanks to all for help changed the plugs/ oil filter/ belts not so ez but did it. front brakes. all with max org help.
