So im picking up some Eibachs from next weekend and i was wondering if i can just put them on myself. The only thing I think would be a problem is I dont have a spring compresser. but im sure i can do it, unless its gunna kill me.
and any one have pics of their car and an Eibach pro-kit?
Thanks y'all

You can do it, but you will NEED a spring compressor.
Rent one at your local auto store.
These are for the 5th gen, but the procedure: remains the same:

doesnt take too long to do my cuz helped me. If you can get a air gun and air compress do so will save you time. The only hard part is working with the spring compresser and making sure your compress it just enough.

A suggestion is to wait for the camber kit from me, otherwise youll have to do it twice.
Its not hard at all actually, but if youre busy a lot, its better to do it all at once.

Yah, wait for the camber kit and do it all at once... unless you have a lot of time and enjoy working on cars.
I've got Eibachs on my car right now actually but it's sitting at the shop, waiting for a new tranny.

I'm only 17 and i finished it with my friend in about 4 hours, but we worked slowly and had a few problems.
Its pretty straightforward.

I bought the Harbor Freight compressors when I put on my Tokico Illuminas - worked great.
BTW, I still have the stock struts & shocks if anybody's interested. Also the aftermarket springs I took off - they made the car too low and were too soft, but maybe that's your cuppa tea.

I gotta go work it out - this evening. Send me a PM to respond to. And take note: The struts and shox are stock, the springs are not. I don't know for sure whose they are, but they're dark blue in color. They came on the car when I bought it. They lower it about 3.5" from stock, as I recall. I measured it, and I have to go look up my notes and I'll tell you. But be warned, they're no stiffer than stock and it's easy to scrape the chin on driveway entrances, etc.
