Stripped Strut bolt any suggestion HELP!!! yeah any ideas how it is an adjustable illumina tokico strut I do not know to many options. Let me know what you think look at picture

Have you thought about rethreading it? I don't know what size head you would use, but might be the simplest solution.

Yeah rethread and use different nut. I just had some strut nuts that were stuck on and then stripped. I had to use a dremel and chisel thanks to the dealership. The other side was hand tight.

A quick search in the yellow pages under "automotive machine shops" will not only save you the hassle of having to deal with that, but also taps are pretty expensive, plus it might have to be turned down on a lathe anyways.

^ Agreed. That is past stripped. Its mangled. Fixing that the right way will cost as much as if not more than a new strut.

If anyone had this problem I used a wheel lug bolt the half cut and forced on it can handle the rethreading being a wheel bolt and is very heavy duty it is the half cut worked out great.

i dont know how much i would want to re thread that considering these are adjustable shocks and u might damage the mechanism if not break it takin off more material.
