Hard Starting completley GONE!!!

So after many hundreds of dollars and countless steering wheel hits (Along with some cursing). I have finally succeded. My car has been having a hard starting ever since I did the 5 spd. swap. It got even worse when I switched out my original fuel filter wiht 142k on it. Fixed it by running 5 ground wires from my starter, tranny, block, head and from my negative battery cable to a new chasis ground. Starts perfect everytime.

$220-Fuel Pump
$145-Starter
$20-8 Gauge wire
Not being able to scare chicks at gas stations by backfiring anymore-Pricless

All in all it was about $600 dollars in OEM parts and what fixed it was some wiring. It is natural to start jumping up and down and cheering when you fix something on your car that's been bothering you for this long? I think not.

I hated waking up in the morning/leaving school knowing that I may have to push start my car. I hated that feeling. I would go to the gas station at 1 a.m. just so nobody would be around when it backfired.

to me - the security of knowing i can jump in my car at any second and drive off is very important.

at any emergency you have the vehicle ready to go, that feeling is truly priceless.

Last week a bunch of middleschoolers were pointing and laughing at my car when it was struggling to start. 5 months of starting issues. Tightened tranny bolts, used some 4 gauge terminal wires to reground the starter. 5 months and 3.5 hours later, starts perfect.

I spent countless hours trying to figure it out. it feels better now.
