Help with rear O2 after 5sp swap

So I posted this under the 4th gen forum and didn't get any responses. Yes I did search for an answer but only came up with a few old threads. I'm trying to get rid of my rear O2 code after having gone through a 5sp swap . I am running a 95 ecu in a 97. I have replaced the sensor and understand why it is that I am getting the code, the thing that I am wondering is if by doing the following I will be able to get rid of it. I believe it was dandymax who moved wire 107 to pin 105 on the ecu and then grounded pin 112. The thing was that it was on an ecu that was programmed by TS. I dont think it should matter and nothing would change, but I want to make sure before I mess with the ecu. I have to get rid of it, my car was due to to emission last month.

yep. I had the same problem. I just did it. You need to move pin 107 to 105 than get a female connector and put that into pin 112. Ground that wire. I grounded my wire with another ground under the cup holder. I haven't had the cel for 600 miles so far. So it does work. You just need to find a female connector.

Its also in the 4th gen stickies.

Just want to make sure I dont mess it up. Im going to completely cut 107 and do I splice that into 105 while 105 is still connected or does the original wire from 105 get eliminated? Also if you dont mind me asking where did ya buy the female connector?

Simulator won't help in his situation as it's due to the fact that the pin locations for the rear o2 are different. Ummmm, lemme go look in the good 'ole fsm to answer the Q in post 3

Ok, no, you don't leave them connected, simply move pin 107 to 105, and ground 112, allthough you could run it to it's own ground near the cupholders, etc, I'd just prefer to tap into one of the many existing grounds............1997 = 10, 19, 25, 32, 43, 124, 108, 116, and more!

Ummmm, as of where to get a female connector........ Steal it from #114, it's one of several used for evap crap not needed by the '95 ecu.

Ummmm, you owe me, my moniter crapped out, now I'm on one that is like 5X7........ 5x7" moniter + fsm = my eyes hurt

You don't have a pin in 105. You need to flip the connector around and use a jewel screwdriver to lift the tab. Than pull on the 107 wire until it comes completely out. Than put that into pin 105.

Gotcha! That i did not know. Thanks speed for the big help. Did you use the FSM or what did you use to identify the pins. I don't recall to well how the FSM identifies the pin outs. If its by wire color or by actual pin number.
