I have an auto maxima. Please help I'm was going to work this morning and got off the exit and stopped at a red light. Then as I was stopping car felt different like it wasn't downshifting. I took off and car moved like a dog very slowly and even I stepped on it it didn't accelerate that much. Then I tried 2, 1 on but no change in transmission. But the reverse works fine. I tired to accelerate car on an open road so it felt like its stuck in third.
Right now I'm at work typing on my brake time to see if anyone can help me to figure out the problem. I'm not sure if I can make it home after work
p/s : I was using OD button just before getting off highway to downshift.

did you have any other problems or just the severe slughishness?

it's possible that a flush and fill may take care of the prob, but not sure is there is any other things goin on.

Update:
I got off the work and now everything works fine. It seems like it fixed itself hehe. I think the tranny went to the safe mode when I drove hard.
