Easy to install (2 bolts on each end), some performance gain (7hp & 16lb/ft of torque dynoed on Justin Gadladge's Maxima) and supposed to quiet Y-pipe noise some, will work with stock exhaust or aftermarket exhaust.

Or bolt a straight pipe in place of your cat and only swap the stock cat back on when you have to go for your emissions tests.

rt cat

how much gain will the RT Cat give exactly if lets say you have an after market catback exhaust that gives 5-8hp....how much will the Random Tech Cat add to those 5-8hp??

People have said the RT cat alone with out a cat-back will give roughly 1-2hp....but what about after having a aftermarket cat-back?

Will the gain of the RT cat increase if we add a y-pipe to the cat-back exhaust...meaning for example y-pipe will give 10hp+5(catback)=15(plus or minus 5hp).... what will the RT give after adding it to this setup?

thanks
