alloy and steel rims use same lug nuts?

alloy and steel rims use same lug nuts?

do the 16" alloy and the 15" steel rims use the same lug nuts? thanks.

...It's an old thread..yeah...I know....but is that the final answer ? yes they are the same ? cause I changed from steelie 15 inch to sawblade wheels (15 too).........didn't change the nuts I bought the car with...

Surprisingly, there are three different types of lugnuts used depending on year and options, but they'll all work just the same. No reason to change them out.

Just FYI, the lugs on my steelies were too thick/big for my 5th gen wheels. Technically I could have used them, but I'd have to get "thin-walled sockets."

I had to buy 5th gen lugs if I wanted to be able to change them out.

wow I saw NightRider's post and wondered if I was back in 2001 and then realized I was. lol good old nightrider and his NA auto pulling on Yamaha R1s.

Anyways yeah as stated, all the different lug styles maximas come with will work.
