accident = weight savings

SOOoooo......

got into an accident, got bumped from behind that made me bump the car in front of me....the problem being while the car behind me hit me flush...the car ahead of me was at an angle.......

so I had to pull out the corner light...the both amber lights seem shot....

so, I made my car more aerodynamic by sealing up some seams.....

and then I thought....why stop there.....since I sit on that side....I'll just corner weight the car.....ghetto stylee yO!!!1111!!

but on a more serious note.....I tried to bang out the fender now my door won't open correctly...any tricks on aligning a fender?

My bad....I forgot to mention the person that hit me was un-insured....so aside from trying to sue him....I think I might be out....

Call your agent. The uninsured motorist coverage what protects you here. Your insurance company decides whether or not it's worth it to them to sue (since these people usually don't have anything of value). The bugger is your deductible - you have to decide if it's worth the deductible to have it fixed.

I would hit car-part.com and see if replacements are within reasonable distance. A bolt-in fix would be best, assuming your front suspension is undamaged.

Personally, I'd make damn sure the uninsured motorist feels some pain. There's not enough motivation for people to be responsible in this world, so for important stuff like this I try to help them understand.

I didn't get hit, nor hit anything hard enough to cause frame damage....that's part of the reason I took off the fender....and the car drives fine.

Just looks cosmetic to me......if I get a high estimate and they total it out...what are the downsides of fixing the car anyway? It has 172K on it right now......

If they total it you will be very lucky and be able to buy the car back for cheap, fix it yourself, and pocket some dough.
