Hi:

I am trying to replace the alternator in Maxima 1999.

I need to take out the electrical connector/harness for alternator (the ones to S/L) and also, the ones to the fans.

Haynes and FSM say open the connector - but, me being a newbie, I am having hard time in openning them. I need little more details on which side to press or just pull out, like that.

Any help is appreciated.
