UMMM......Is this bad??

ok, well today guys I washed the max and cleaned her out, then I lifted up the hood and decided I needed to put some oil in her, But without paying attention I grabbed the transmission fluid and accidently poured some in before I realized what it was!!!! Is this going to affect my eingine in anyway?? Will it mess anything up, or will the car just take it, My car wasn't low on oil, it had enough in there, so I am sure it just mixed in with the oil, but I don't know if it will affect the car in anyway??? Does anyone know, any suggestions?? Or should I just leave it be?? HELP

How much did you pour in there?
if it was only an ounce or two I wouldn't worry about it, any more and I would change the oil.

When are you due an oil change? As long as it was under half a liter it should be fine for a while. Transmission fluid can help clean the inside of the engine but it isn't meant to be used as an engine oil. If only a few ounces I wouldn't worry at all.

its not a problem. i read an article about using 1 qt of transmission fluid in place of engine oil to clean the engine slowly. seems like u put less than 1 qt so its fine.

Yeah i put less than a couple of ounces, not much.....I am not due for a oil change, had one done not to long ago.....I don't think anything will go wrong, It seems fine, I have been driving it and it is running nice and strong, it actually feels like a better pull....? Well I think it should be ok....thanks for ur guys input tho, most of you guys seem to think it's not a big deal, and that makes me feel a whole lot better...Thanks!!!

tranny fluid no not a biggie, my only concern would be you said it didnt need oil? does that mean it was full? If its overfull thats not good, better to have a little less oil than more from what I know'

Well it needed a little of course I wouldn't have been putting any in, but not to an extent where it was empty and i was refilling...so I think it is ok, probably just mixed in a little.....right?
