Low idle, when stopped at lights

Hey! have a slight problem. and as i think i know what it is.. i've still not quite sure.

as of recently, after i crank my car, and begin down the road. whenever i stop at a light, or sign, i get a low idle of about 500-600 it acts as if it is going dead

i've had my CES light on for about two years now. with the same code 10 08, and i think thats whats cause thing, but i'm not 100%

any thoughts?

EVAP canister purge volume control valve, i asked nissan about one. and they told me it was next to this box in the rear of the car. i replaced and nothing happened..

i'm guessing i'm getting a code from the one under the hood

the best way to find out is to take it to autozone and have them run on ther computer, and they will pin point were the problem is,
that solve my bad idle problem, but my problem was the IAVC valve

At night with your lights on when you come to a stop do your headlights dim noticably when you hit the brakes?

Get a grounding kit and see if it helps.

Likely hidden corrosion. On your positive terminal beside where it attaches to the battery post there are 2 plug in connecters. I believe the entire electrical system (except the starter) is powered through those two connectors. Pull them out and spray some CRC battery terminal cleaner on them. Solved my stalling problem.

for low idles....you might want to clean your throttle body. you can also set your rpm level using the ECU.

check for a vacuum leak...make sure ur intake system is sealed up properly.

also the 10 08 is the dumbest CEL ever...no one knows how to fix it. I have also been driving with this for a year now with no problems. can anyone chime in about this?

Mine was doing the same thing recently. Idle was coming down when I came to a stop. I cleaned the battery terminals well becasue there was come corrosion and buildup, and it runs much better now and the idle problem is gone. Might be a good place to start.
