Try out that search function bro, it was done years ago by Craig Mack. There's been lots of discussion about his and other potential setups.

I toss this idea back and forth myself sometimes. Craig Mack only ever took 4 really bad pictures and doesn't remember a whole lot about it (I've talked to him recently) so there isn't much to learn/know about his setup. Of anyone, I probably know the most about it, though.

How do you figure? It's not as simple as you think. I don't understand how you can jump into this knowing nothing about it and expect it to go off without a hitch.

There actually aren't that many parts to it, it just requires a good bit of custom-made parts.

yeah that would suck sooo bad. So much time and money invested into it, and maybe enjoyed it properly running for 1-2 day tops? Its a shame to be honest with you. Especially considering he was the pioneer of this setup.

So its almost like this set-up:

This one looks like it would look nicer though.
I had repo'd an Eclipse with this type of supercharger and it looked like it would work on our car, but you would need to remove and fabricate a new mounting plate so it would fit on the VQ.

No. Thats a cintrifical type style blower. The blower these guys are talking about are Roots type. Roots builds boost alot quicker then the cintrifical type...Cintrifical type blowers build boost as rpms build.

All of Craig's drivability issues were fixed before the car was totalled. He just never bothered to say much about it, and only had the car running properly maybe a couple hours tops before it was totalled. That's the irony of the situation.

His problems were quite easily fixed, and were really pretty much dumb oversights on his (or his mechanic's) part. He had the throttlebody and MAF in the "stock" location, that was his main problem. Look at, say, a Grand Prix GTP (or most any other factory-equipped M90 car); they have their MAF and throttlebody attached BEFORE the blower. That way you're not blowing the charged air right into the MAF, and you don't need a BOV at all, either. Theoretically you could have the throttlebody in the stock location with a BOV as long as the BOV was recirculated (to before the MAF). As far as charge pipe problems, Matty, I'm not really sure what you're referring to.

The factory M60 on my tow truck - on the VG33... The Frontier and Xterra had this option for a couple of years.

The TB and MAF are ahead of the blower. Wish someone could adapt some of this to a VQ...

Anyone know how the LIM compares between the two engine series?
