JDM: Myth or fact?
Hey all like i have stated many times this is my first import. I keep hearing people raving about buying JDM parts for my car here are some reasons may be someone can help me seperate fact from fiction.
1) People in japan switch motors after 50K... ( if this is true than why would they do this since we run outs to about 4X that time?)
2) Since the car is from japan the engine does not ahve a "speed " cap to limit how fast the car can go..
3) if u buya JDM engine u have to use highe octane gas cause they use higher octane gas in china.
Are any of these true and can anyone tell me why peope INSIST on buying JDM thanksss

2) They are speed capped in MOST cases to the equivalent of 120mph, obviously they read in kph.
3) Higher octane gas is utilized, the China part I've never heard of.. I always assumed it was for better emissions which is why the Japs dont keep engines, nor cars for very long.
4) Ppl buy JDM because if you do you can become a superhero..

such anger. you need a bong or a blow job........go get a car where you wont have to cry to anyone. gezzzzzzzzz. better yet dont spend so muuch time on here and you wont be so angry, somone with 2173 posts = to much time on the computer - no wonder why you dont get some.

As far as a bong, I'm against pills and/ or inhaling anything. Sometimes I drink, but rarely anything but beer..
I have a g/f and we do our thing and that's my business. I like to come on here and learn new things and involve myself in the discussion and that's exactly what I do for better or worse and I'm proud of all I've gotten out of it. Which is why I'd rather laugh at say your "yugo" comment then get angry or bent out of shape over it.
Yugo and speed shouldn't enter even the same realm of the mind. Let alone a sentence..
