auto tranny swap: gauging difficulty

So my tranny blew-up the other night at 130k, and since it's the LSD it's freakin' hard to find a used one. Anyhow, I'm tempted to replace it myself but I'm wondering if anybody could provide any tips, how tos, or if this is even feasilble for me to do. Now alittle back ground on myself, I've changed the starter/alternator/both half-shafts/and a wheel bearing. I heard swapping in a tranny requires alot of details like pressuring the system so there's absolutely no bubbles in the lines, and some other things that didn't sound easy at all to do. So, i'm welcoming any comments people may have..
