Greddy SP2 VS Apexi WS2
Does anyone have any sound clips and pics of the Apexi WS2 for the 97-99? I searched everywhere and can't seem to find soundclips or even pics of it!!! Is it not a very popular exaust system? I'm basically looking for a sporty setup with a nice not too loud noise. If anyone has the WS2 how does it fit? I heard the B-pipe of the SP2 hangs kinda low so that is kind of scaring me cause i'm lowered with a 2 finger gap all around. So if you guys have any info on both systems please let me know!!!

I have the greddy sp2. I love it. It's silent at idle and sounds nice at WOT. I don't think you'll be disapointed. But I'm a little biased towards it mainly because I have it and also I've never heard what the other one sounds like, but either way it sounds like you can't go wrong with either.
Oh and yes the b-pipe on the sp2 hangs low, but I've never had a problem and neither has the previous owner. It's been on there for over a year now.

I had an Sp1 that was a little louder that I liked, and I had to get it replaced after 7 years of hard winters and road salt. The B-pipe and welds on the flange rusted off. Now I have an Sp2 which is pretty quiet before adding a y-pipe. After adding a Y-pipe, the sound is a little loud for my tastes sometimes. Although I think the flex section was not made that great. The sound seems to be comming out of there. Budget Cali spec Y-pipe SS.

I just don't want a droning noise that can be heard over my stereo. Do you have steep driveways or speed bumps in your area? There are these horrible speed bumps at my school that makes some pipe srcape alittle. What is that pipe because it looks like its hanging too low. Its a big looking canister thing right after the cat it sits lower than anything. Is that the oem exaust? Will the SP2 replace that thing?
The sp2 actually sounds better with a y-pipe I think, probably louder while accelerating. But still, at idle and cruising speeds, there's almost no drone. Everything else just cancels the sounds out (road noise, music......) I just love it cause it's not all raspy like others. Pair it up with an intake (I have injen) and prepare for a nice, semi-beefy sound imo.
roads here are pretty good for the most part.
