seen it done already, there is a car that posted on here with pretty much that setup.

for KNOWING everything there is to know about intakes and what it could do for your car, you sure don't know anything at all about, well anything related to a maxima so your advice for staying stock = lol...

I wonder is caesar would have run his 13.9 with everything he has done - the intake. doubt it.

Yeah running nos in his stock car will blow everything. Why do you need nos if you dont race? What a waste of money.

About the 3" cone filter. Obviously you havnt searched anywhere and are just asking. You have k&n cones at the nearest auto store...

it's not a bad deal but if you look a bit more you can find one with a filter that is identical to a K&N for 30 bucks including shipping

I just got a Stillen popcharger intake on my car and believe it or not it really KILLS the low end. I know people say it's a slight drop in low end power, but beleive me it's HUGE!!!. i like the the SLIGHT high end power, but honestly Im thinking of going back to stock already. Don't get a popcharger or short ram. I heard CAI don't take away to much low end and adds just as much high end, but you would have to ask the ones that have had expereince with them. The only real mod I got and LOVE TO DEATH is my budget Y-pipe, get a y-pipe first and you'll LOVE IT I gaurantee it.......

there is nothing wrong with running nos on a stock motor, if your not smart enough to use it correctly then I agree stay away from it.

Damn, that's the one I was going to get. Does replacing the y-pipe increase the noise level at all? I want something to make the car just a little bit louder, since it seems almost silent, nothing loud and ricey, just something that i can hear w/o trying to listen for it.

Actually yeah, a tiny bit, you get kind of a small growl when you punch it..it's nice, nothing like the popcharger. You'll like it..Makes me want to get a full exhaust to get the full sound. I probably be selling my stillen intake in about 2 weeks, it's brand spanking new, if your interested in seeing for yourself. It'll be up un the classifieds...

The stone racing headers, and Y-pipe are actually not bad for the money. I have it installed for about 3 months now and in all honnesty I did have to clean up the welds inside the headers a little but everything fit perfectly and I love the tone.

no offense dude, but you sound like an F*cking idiot. I would strongly suggest that you just stop talking, because obviously you dont really want to know anything and when you get answers, you dont make any progress...so stop wasting bandwidth and asking dead end questions.

Stillen rapes you for money and popcharger is supercharge popcorn maker haha..

I'm all in for the factory box with K&N pannel filter but, minus the snorkus that is attached to the factory box..

Y-pipe from budge is still around.. wow I bet they made tons of money.. Everyone from the past said they were best bang for the buck for HP..
What you guys use for Fuel management these days?

Infowire, have you considered some suspension mods? A rear sway bar and front strut bar aren't too expensive and are supposed to really improve the car's handling, particularly when coupled with some springs/struts. I just picked up my Max and am planning on redoing the suspension before I worry too much about adding hp, except I probably will pick up one of those budget Y-pipes soon...

Warp speed makes them for our car, sometimes they sell there y pipes on eBay

I bought one of those intakes just to make the engine bay pretty, but they DO NOT add HP or any noticeable MPG, they just make noise and look pretty, you actually loose low end torq I believe

FYI a lot of people like to yell at N00bs on the org so when u make a thread be ready to take some of there comments lightly

and SAFCII is prob the best for A/F

Bottom line is that you always get what you pay for. Look at the normal prices for items that you are interested in and then make an educated decision.

Good luck,

bottom line is that statement does not always hold true.

explain to me why a midpipe off of ebay is not JUST as good as a frankencar midpipe. notice i did not say a k&n filter vs. a bomz filter. there are some obvious differences there.

thats like saying generic ibuprofin doesnt work just as well as advil. some things are purely marketing.

you sometimes get what you pay for.
