300k max??
Just was wondering if anyone has put 300,000 miles or more on there stock maxima? When i say stock i mean an engine that has not been rebuilt or worked on internally... I understand pumps, hoses, pulleys etc..... And yes this is pointless, but personally i have never seen anyone hit 300k..

im at 92k, so im just finishing the break in....
But a guy i know who had a 93 Allanté hit 432k before getting rear ended and totalled, last i knew he was looking for another one too. funny though, he had the digital dash (as does my 92) and apperantly when you hit 399,999 it rolls over to 00000 (dont ask why its 5 0's) so his insurance company gave him $$ for a car with 32k, worked out quite well

Please don't turn this into a "I have blah blah miles on my car..." thread! There's little reason to postr here if you have less than 200,000 miles on your car; it's been well proven that 4th gens can handle 200,000 without breaking a sweat.
I think the 3.0L VQ is definetly capable of hitting 300,000 miles. Much of the other things on the car are only good for 200,000 miles. For example, my windshield wiper linkage broke after 227,000. I've tried to fix it and have yet to be successful - weather.com is now more important to me than ever! The latest problem is the failure of the cruise control. Little things like this are really annoying but the drivetrain is rock solid and ready to go. I really can't bring myself to dump money into the car anymore after the Turkish guys rear-ended me in January, doing $4000 worth of body damage.

wow i only have 87k on my 99 lol. my dream is to drive it into the ground before anything major happens to it, that or i get into a accident getting my car totaled ( their fault of course) and in return getting enough money to get a 5 speed max. works out pretty well in my mind.

Well I have 150k on my 97 max and got it when it had only 30k...never had major issues, just oil changes and regular maintence. I bow down to those Nissan engineers!!
Sometimes I want to sell the max but I just cant bring mysself to do it!!
