Help!!!!! I get a noise in front 1999 maxima

I have been to 2 dealerships and they cannot find the problem. It sounds like rocks rolling around when I do a slow turn mostly a right. When I go through a tunnel you can also hear the noise. ANY IDEA what to look for or even tell these guys. One told me it was the brakes but we changed them a few weeks ago and still a noise. Thank you ...

ur rotors are probably touching the back shield... that supports the rotors... could be something like that i suspect...

It's hard to say, without doing some basic tests to narrow down the location.
1) Does it vary with RPM, or rolling speed?
2) Does it happen only when in gear, or when on the throttle, or idling?
3) Does it happen when you're turning the steering wheel?
4) Can you tell where the noise is coming from? High, low, a wheel well, etc?
5) Does it change if you apply the brakes?

Offhand, it could be a wheel bearing, tranny bearing, throwout bearing, or a bad bearing on one of the accessories.

That sounds like classic CV-joint noise to me. I've always described it to people like this "It sounds like you have a hubcap full of rocks in it when you are making a turn - the tighter the turn, the louder the noise".
