Sometimes pulling it out can be a challenge. Be careful not to damage the axle seal inside. Tough job to replace in a driveway. Hope you have access to a lift.

i did this about 4 months ago with air tools and jack stands, your lucky because the passenger side is much easier than drivers side. dont be afraid to pull hard on the old one to get it out and remember there is a coupling about 8 inches from where the axle goes into the tranny there will be three bolts on this to remove the axle, taking those bolts off should really be your only problem. best of luck

Wait when i replaced my PASSENGER/RIGht side axle i had to unbolt it from the block underneath not just simply take the axle nut off then pull it out the driver side was that easy not the passenger side.

good luck with the passanger side, i went to do mine over the winter... the thing was so badly siezed on that when i finally gave up and took it to a shop they couldnt even get it off they had to get another shop from down the street to come and bring a heavier duty air chizzel. passenger side is the worst on our cars, and if you dont have a life it sucks even more, trust me i know...
