lssexhaust-muffler

Has anyone experienced with lssexhaust's muffler? They say it's hi-flow & quiet performance, but how quiet is it? I'm ordering a y&b pipe w/resonator from them, and was wondering if I should get the muffler as well.

Thanks,
Geo T.

a lot of people will tell you once you get a Y your muffler stops being quiet. And if you have a non-stock one all hell breaks loose.

I never heard of people with a lsss/budget muffler. Just Y/B pipes. most people keep the stock if they can. because the Y/B already give you all the gains you can squeeze out of the exhaust system. minus the headers of course. So the muffler stock or "hi-flow" would not give you any more gains.

Not looking to get any performance out of the muffler, but just wanted to know how the muffler sounds? My stock muffler is rusted, so I went ahead and cut & scraped away the first layer of the muffler! (no more rusted pieces)

WOW! Can't believe no one know's how the lssexhaust muffler is!
Well it's stainless steel like the y&b pipes I'm going to get, supposedly it's
suppost to be quiet also. I guess everyone is hooked on Greedy,HKS, Dynomax, & etc... Maybe I'll get it, and if I don't like how it sounds, then I'll get something else! I'll just have to see.

I was there this morning, and from what I could see browsing around, noticed that they've got a pretty decent selection of mufflers sitting in their shop. Based on the overall quality of their y-pipe, and their overall experience with exhaust components, their claim probably holds water.
