Endeavor To Fix The Sunroof Minus The $$$
In a previous post I showed you how to fix the ignition switch by simply getting rid of the play it has. That made me very happy because my switch now works like new and I spent $0.00 dollars.
My sunroof is now useless. It used to work but it got progressively stiffer to work until it stopped working completely because it sticks, the sliders won't slide. I know that there is a Kit to fix it but I am wondering if I can fix those rails and simply get them to slide again.
There is a big difference between exploring the ignition switch and sunroof. To get to the sunroof it takes more effort because the ceiling has to come off. So it takes more time to get at those jammed rails.
I will report here if I can make any improvements to the sunroof.
Any hints? (Umm... please save your smart-aleck "I can buy 20 sunroof kits right now, suckah!" comments.)
