Will a 99SE steering rack fit in 96GXE

Sup guys , my max feel loose and unstable .. unpredictable

There is a loose where my inner tie rod connect to the rack
i got it inpected by a alignement guy and he says i need a new stering rack
I am also doing a VQ35swap ,Lca ES.. so while the motor is out ill change the steering rack

SO would a 99SE rack fix my 96GXE ??? anyone done it ??

EDIT: where a good place to buy a rebuild ?

some one has done it, cant remember who but they were happy with the results.

I believe its in the how to's or faqs, someone either used a 99 rack or upgraded it somehow. . . price to do so lead around $1k.

Kevlo showed me a site, that i dont have on my computer any longer, that upgrades the steering rack to the newer tighter style. Price was about $400

ebay has racks for like $100 shipped. i thought they were way more money.
