I couldn't feel any play when mine went bad, it was just a low screeching noise. I couldn't tell if it is was metal grinding or rubber squeaking. i thought maybe my cv boot was rubbing against itself or something. Mastercater7 help me change it out, I got the bearing off ebay, seals from the dealer, (verified the correct part number because it is the same bearing as some other nissans) took the knuckle off, took it to Sears with the bearing and got it pressed for $40. I wouldn't recommend Sears but they do it if they have the machine. That's a good price posted in post 15 to get all that done. Turbo max+bad wheel bearings= fail.

$50 Wheel bearing, 2yr warranty
$20 to let someone use a hydraulic press to press the old bearing out of the hub. If you drove on the bad bearing for an extended time, you might need a new hub, and that's about $80 from the dealer.

But I have one more thing to say: do NOT take it on a high speed long run, because bad bearings get very much worse really quickly at high speed thread insert helicoil
