anyone wired up the msd 8950 rpm switch for 00vi?

hey guys, my friend and i will be putting on the 00vi...(finally since june 05). just wondering if anyone hooked up the mds rpm switch. Summit ran out of their own switches and it says there is a substitute msd 8950. just wondering are they roughly the same install instructions.

also i have read on the forum you can splice the 5th gen tb/iacv so we don't need the 4th gen iacv adaptor? http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=463248

just making sure if that is it and this will also help others to doing the 00vi swap. credit goes to SDot82

yea, better off going to all motor. How bout buying the VAFC-II. You can tune A/F and it works as a switch for the VIAS. By the way are you using the stock intake? I'm planning on putting this in within the next month.

find SPIG in this org. He has the MSD rpm switch installed to his MEVI. He used to have a Harlan switch, but fried it up. MSD works well for him for years already. Ask him, PM him, poke him. He'd love to answer your questions.
