wow, you're the man for posting this. If I go with a full exhaust eventually, it's definitely going to be from Cattman.

Thanks for the vid, man!

Still Sounds Fantastic! I remember the video you made similar to this one, when you still lived in the states. Your car is one of my favorite max's. BTW, The YouTube link said the Video was no longer available.

i think the youtube link is still processing the video, well one or the other for the chariot, either OOVI or VQ35DE. Will have to see how the money flows, OOVI will be a simple move but I would love to have more horsepower via 3.5L.

OH MY GOD.

Did the headers make it louder and smoother? Did you ever have just the muffler/no headers?

Sounds AMAZING, and I'm very picky about exhaust noise.

edit: you really like beating the crap out of your clutch, hehe. How'd you eliminate wheelhop, traction bars or what?

This is what I'm talking about!!! No bees in a can, doesn't get raspy on the high end, and it isn't rediculously loud. It has a close sounding tone comparable to the new Z. Great footage

yeah for the "trunk cam" a friend of mine jumped in and held the trunk with one hand and the camera with the other, i laughed the whole time... but did take it easy.

with the video im always tempted to put my foot down but did want to get some regular driving shots in to hear different types of exhaust notes with different kinds of driving.

not sure what is up with youtube. uploading it again. usually close to the end of the month my bandwidth is gone so the alternate link is cool for when the bandwidth is cashed.

i got the headers first, then the cattman catback. i had the warpspeed bpipe, magnflow muffler setup with CM test pipe and it was not sounding to hot at all. so put on stock cat and got the cattman catback and hit the jackpot. now i need to get my hands on a CM test pipe again to see how the setup would sound now.

edit: the headers didnt make the car any louder, just smoother and more tuned sounding. when i got the headers i had the exhaust setup above, and it sounded higher pitched and just wasnt what i was looking for, it took both the cattman headers and catback to get what i say is close to perfect for a vq30de.

Ah, I see... oh well, I wonder what just the headers/stock everything else and just cattman muffler/stock everything else sound like...

Well... I'm sure you've noticed, but god himself is speaking from the back of your car. He's saying.... "you silly NZlanders drive on the wrong side of the road."

And that's my insightful comment of the day.

P.S. I need a cattman muffler.

Yep. That's why I never ever want to drive a mail truck... well, on the highway at least.

Anyway... this is what you're currently being played on, up to about 100db I'd say.

Yeah, it's looping too.

You should really do some searching and find some of his track vidz. Ceasar is a good driver, if he wasnt he wouldnt get the times he has gotten.

Do you know how to even drive a manual car? There isn't a problem with his shifts and as someone else said he is in the 13's in the quarter with his car so he must be doing something right.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA.
You are a retard... actually no.
you're a complete fukctard.
Why would he make perfect shifts when he's just trying to let people hear his exhaust.
And as Zach said... it's hilarious saying that the guy that has the fastest NA non VI maxima EVER doesn't know how to shift......................

Yeah... and it's just the muffler that makes it sound good

noob's suck

you need that ypipe in order to run the headers. If you look at cattman's regular ypipes, you can see the difference in design.
