This stuff is great. I have used it in my 97 Grand Cherokee with great results and will be doing it to the wife's 99 Maxima SE this weekend. There is nothing better out there.
Which product did you use? Seafoam, or Deep Creep?
Deep Creep is SUPPOSED to come with a detachable spray tube (y'know, those little red straws that they tape to the sides of the can).
While wandering around a NAPA auto parts store, I saw a bunch of Deep Creep cans WITH the spray tube.
JUST MY LUCK! I had to buy one that had no tube. This solves the problem of having to turn the can on its side to reach the manifold.
So-o-o-o, I am going to redo the part of the video where I push the spray button, only this time the can will be held upright, and the little red tube will be inserted inside the manifold connector.
Much easier, and all of the spray will go into the manifold.

I used just the regular seafoam, I had great results, a lot of smoke though. The pick up increased greatly. A few days after I put new spark plugs in too and that made even more improvements. I used the bosch platinums. I highly recommend seafoam!
I love how this guy in the video talks like he is performing brain surgery or somehitng... The simple 2 step process is a little drawn out with the video..
Step 1: take hose off brake booster
Step 2: spray in the seafoam
Why does it have to be more complicated than that?
I think this weekend Ill take a video and show you guys how I check the oil.
just kidding dude.. I can see how dedicated you are to the upkeep of your baby.. That is admirable.

Excellent. Is it just me, or did your voice start sounding more and more like President Bush as the movie went on? At the very least you could probably do a great dubya impression

Well...ah...you see...it musta been all the fumes I wuz breathin' in, y'know...
I like that shirt! do you really need to wear gloves when you do this, because I don't have any! will a sock do?
Only if it's an Oxford sock.
I filmed the video in a parking garage on a Sunday so there would be nobody around to interrupt me. Since I had no way of cleaning my hands before getting back into my car, I decided to do the CSI shtick with the latex gloves.
I would have worn my long black dress gloves, but I left them at the cleaners.
how much you spray in? after you spray in you let it sit for 10 mins then start the car rev up?
i kept partial throttle (about 2000rpms - the engine will die with the brake booster hose disconnected at idle) and sprayed about half can. after spraying put the hose back on and let it run for a few more. didn't notice any difference afterwards though so can't tell that it had any benefit.
Uhh... I am not sure if this popped up anywhere but I am afraid the straw will somehow fall off the can and get sucked into the brake booster, haha
I am old school I use the can and just pour Seafoam into the brake booster rather than use Deep Creep. I mean what could happen if a straw somehow got sucked down there?
Yea dude I just noticed when I bought some 2 weeks ago! I remember when I first bought Seafoam for my 3rd gen in 2005, it was 5.99 and two weeks ago when I go look on the shelf I nearly fainted to see at how much the price went up in just 4 years lol
