Guess what?

I got a engine and transmission for 2g's installed! Both of them have 39k miles on it. It also comes with a two year warranty. Its coming from japan. I have a 95 se blk on blk.I got the paper work from the warehouse stating the condition of the engine. I also got the tracking number. I wanted to make sure I wasn't get screwed. I think the only bad thing is. the engine is a 95 and its been sitting in a warehouse for years! They ran tests on it b4 they shipped it out and said everything is good. The funny thing is, this was a American engine replacement garage.all the cars were old school chevy's and ford. I was just checking around and asking for prices. I think i just got lucky with this guy.

So i'll be getting my car next week! I can't wait! I am not sure if the new engine will come with a Knock sensor which i already know that it comes with no accessories. So I know i got to get one of those. I also wanna replace the ground wire with a kit. Who install those? Make sure i get a K&N cone filter. I was thinkin about gettin a pulley, but i have been hearing too many problems with them. I already have a warpspeed y pipe on it. Im goin to pick up some NGK's sparkplugs as well. Anything else I should replace? He is putting all new hoses on it. I order those from nissan dealership. I want to get a JWT ecu or one of those performance ones. After that I'll start working on the body. Any other suggestions? I'll let you know next week how it goes.

nice. coming from japan meaning JDM or just a american import that went to japan and you are just retreiving the engine? Lets see the whole swap process. If you don't have one already go get a digital camera or borrow one and takes pics ot the process. I have to takes notes on this.

Yea I am kinda happy about it. I still dont know what ima do with it once get it back. I'll need to spend about 2 more g's trying to get the exterior looking good. I still got saw blaze on it. With 39k on engine and transmission, i might keep it for another year. Its paid off course. I might sell it and get me a wrx.I'll try to get up there and take pictures. All I know so far is, everything is out and they are now testing all these accessories before they swap everything.
