3rd brake light

My 3rd brakelight in the spoiler burnt/shorted out. The dealer wants 185 and no junk yards around here have one. Anyone know where to pick one up and a reasonable price?

Thanks

Part out cars are what you can get other car parts from.

I don't know about the 3rd brake light but I do know where you can get a whole new rear end job.

Did just a few leds go out on it or does the whole unit not light up at all?

If the whole unit is not lighting up check the harness connection from the bottom of the spoiler. Pull off the inner trunk liner from the underside of the flip up portion and make sure the harness is connected fully. One time, I thought mine had burnt out but the harness had come loose on it.

Yea, I checked the harness I have 12 volts there, and i have 12 volts going into the actual assembly. Moisture got in there and burned out the circuit board. (also made getting the assembly off the spolier a blast)

The turbo is running decent, I still need to figure out my fueling. At times Im running too lean for comfort. I think i might send the ecu to jim wolf.

Have you dyno'd yet?...I'd probably be worried about leaning out on the top end and blowing the VQ...

no dyno, too risky..... I ran out of money so i couldnt complete my fuel system. It just has walbro 255, 400cc injectors, and 300z MAF. No FPR or emanage or anything. Car has been sitting in driveway uninspected for 3 months, and now i need to get this brake light before i can get it inspected and start messing with the fuel system again.
